Who We Are

The Brisbane Festival Male Voice Choir Inc. consists of about seventy men who all share a common belief and a love of singing about our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Choir normally sings in local Brisbane churches, nursing homes, retirement villages etc. Once every two years we have a major Festival of Praise incorporating similar choirs from Bundaberg, Sydney, Melbourne, Geelong and New Zealand.

Throughout the year we also present smaller regional festivals. These include Bundaberg, Warwick, Boonah, Toowomba and other places.

Our Choir is associated with the Festivals of Male Voice Praise in the UK. Other links can also be found on the Sydney Festival Male Voice Choir website.

Every two years a Combined Festival of Male Voice Praise is held in Brisbane. This festival brings together associated choirs from Australia and New Zealand.

2010 PROGRAM

It is now 55 years since the Choir held its first festival (in 1955). In 2010 we expect to bring several presentations in regional centres in South East Queensland where those original and indeed timeless songs will be sung.
